i need to start posting more
✖ Went out on Sunday with my parents, Devon, and my grandmother to Sizzler's for their breakfast buffet. It's nice and all, but we're always going there for breakfast, so there is no more variety. Plus, the food ended up making me sick - I ended up being incapacitated for the next three days. To top it off, my allergy medication wasn't working, so by the time we got home, I felt like I was gonna die. The only good thing to come out of that day is a shirt I got that says "Consciousness: That annoying time between naps"
✖ I gave my mother her mother's day present today since she works tomorrow. I got her a spa set and a pair of hoop earrings. Devon made her a card, got her some chocolate, and also got her some earrings. We'll probably be heading to my grandmother's tomorrow. Chris will most likely be coming with us too.
✖ Yesterday I got an invitation in the mail about an award ceremony for the graduates of Pace's Dyson College of Arts and Sciences. I didn't go to my graduation, but I figured I'd go to this. I wasn't really expecting to get anything other than acknowledgement. Today, I got a formal letter from the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences which stated: "I am pleased to inform you that you will be honored at this year's Dyson College Awards Ceremony. You will be receiving recognition as the recipient of Graduation Honors."
I will apparently be getting a medal. I knew that I had made Magna Cum Laude, but I didn't actually expect anything for it. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little excited. I actually went 'eeee' after reading the letter.
