my nose hurts ;_;
HONESTY MEME
I've been sick this whole weekend. It started on Friday, I woke up and felt horrible. My head was killing me, I was hot and cold at the same time, I was all stuffy, and I couldn't stop throwing up. I was really scared, because I had no idea what was wrong with me. Saturday was better, but I still was stuffy with a headache, but now my throat was hurting. I'm pretty much all better now, but I've got a stuffy nose. Of course, I've used so many tissues this weekend that now my nose is irritated.
I did however spend the past week reading AKIRA. After I finished the manga, I watched the movie. I forgot how good this series is - it's definitely one that everyone should look into at least once. Between the movie and the manga, I prefer the manga, and I'm glad I read the manga first, because I had a better understanding while watching the movie. That's not saying the movie is bad though - it's spectacular. The only things I could criticize is the movie's treatment of Akira himself, and Kaori's role - I felt she got more attention in the manga. I really wanted to find the Japanese version of the movie, but all I found was the dub. Surprisingly enough, Johnny Yong Bosch makes a really good Kaneda.
Class starts up again on Wednesday, and I still have work that I didn't finish. I keep telling myself to do it, but that doesn't work. My Digital Design work is done, but I've still got the final version of my second comic page to do. I'm not too worried about my essays since they're due next week. Then my mother reminds me that I've only got 2-3 weeks left of class, and I'm starting to freak out again ;;
