I live for endings like this~
✎ I went to Barnes & Noble yesterday during my break and was able to pick up the last volumes of Me & My Brothers, Wild Ones, and volume 20 of Skip Beat! I lucked out on the last volume of Wild Ones, because the Viz website didn't have it's date of release up. I had just happened to see it while I was browsing.
The first one I ended up reading was Wild Ones, I didn't even know it was the last volume until I finished reading it, but I still liked the way it ended. I kind of wish that Sachie and Rakuto confessing to each other was dragged out a bit more though. It was always obvious that they loved each other, but it still seemed kind of rushed at the end. Regardless, it was a satisfying ending.
Then Me & My Brothers~ I mentioned before that I was wary about the ending - I didn't think that Sakura would be set up with someone else right at the end, but there was no guarantee that Sakura would end up with Masashi. The athletic meet cracked me up, and I nearly cried when Sakura ran away after hearing Masashi talk to Takashi. I'm not totally convinced that it was necessary for Masashi to lose his memory though, however brief it was. It all worked out in the end though, so I'm happy - and I like Masashi with short hair~ (I'm kind of sad he grew it back out). My favorite part was the special after the last chapter, showing how Masashi has always been Sakura's favorite. She's so cute as a baby!
✎ Ahaha my mother saw my cellphone wallpaper and told me she "didn't appreciate it," and I told her that I didn't care right back. It cracked me up. I did eventually change it though. I like this one better actually, because it has Mikado in it~ When I showed my mother, she just rolled her eyes at me. She also hates my ringtone, but I have no plans on changing it - I still get excited when my phone rings.
✎ I still have yet to pick up Naruto again, but I have been watching the Shippuden dub on Disney xd (I know, I know, it's weird). It has reminded me how much I did love Naruto, though. They're still in the 'Retrieve Gaara' arc and Sakura is fighting Sasori - which has to be one of my all-time favorite parts. I love Sakura ♥ It's embarrassing, but I've been flailing and singing the praises of this arc to my mother, Devon, and anyone who will listen. I also forgot how pretty Sasori was~
✎ I have so many assignments due next week, it's actually kind of daunting. It makes me really miss my vacation. It also makes me curse the fact that I'm an English major - there is just way too much writing sometimes.
✎ Oh, and because I just remembered - the newest chapter of Kimi no Todoke makes me want to pull my hair out. So frustrating!
