*Yawn*

Well, my sisters wedding is over and now I'm officially unbusy.
For those of you who don't know, my school added two classes to my schedule in the middle of the semester, taking away my planning process in the meantime.  Also, the classes had no set curriculum so I had to create all the materials I planned to use.  This happened right after I agreed to take over our Saturday School programs, so I was already on extended hours.  So, I've been working non stop for several months.
When not working, my sister's wedding and planning for that has been taking up a lot of my time.
But now...all that is finished!  The wedding is over, and on Wednesday my coworkers and I met and agreed that we were basically just going to "mark time" for the last three weeks of school.  Any other year this would be unthinkable for me.  I hate that so many schools have grades turned in early because we could still be doing stuff!  but I'm far too tired to prepare anything for these next too weeks.

The wedding was too big and too long to write a comprehensive post about it now, but a few notes about the experience:
1.  (Perhaps the most important)  If your planning a dry wedding, so your only chance to drink is in the limo, be careful about how quick you down the Smirnoffs.  I went into the reception a *tad* bit tipsy, which is very unusual for me...we drank really fast.

2.  keeping up with blond "California Girl" 21 year olds is *exhausting*.  It was so nice to get to bed before 2 last night.  So nice!

3.  The gay latin groomsman was the best dancer.  Stereotypical!

4.  I did pretty good during the ceremony at holding back tears but two words into my toast I was bawling.  (I was told I did pretty well though).

5.  The wedding itself was perfect.  "Understated Elegance" is what everyone (photographers, DJ, caterers, etc.) said about it.

6.  My hair was awful.  I told the woman I wanted a nice, understated do.  I said 'Add some volume and see if you can get it to flip up."  Those were my exact words.  She asked if I wanted a bouffant, I said no.  Still, what I ended up getting was a ton of curls that stuck out about 3 inches on either side of my face and made me look fat.  *grr*.  Kath liked it though, so I suppose I can't complain!

Right now, I'm sitting in the living room with m family, which I'm really enjoying.  I tried at one point to get plane tickets from Syracuse to BWI on Saturday night or Sunday morning so I could do a little bit of FC still, but apparently this is impossible.  It's good I couldn't too, because I just haven't been able to keep up with Firan, and I always forget how much I *love* my family and being able to just sit and relax and talk.  I might do some looking on Firan for a character when I get back though, but I'm not completely free for time, I still need to show up to school every day, and plan some sort of employment for summer.  I kinda have a position lined up, but I'd like to look for something better if I can.
