Today's train show was a little disappointing from the sake of looking at cool layouts. There was only one real layout that was properly detailed with houses, hills, cars, people, etc. The rest were just some trains running on track with a couple of random things dropped down on the table. Stopped at Walmart tonight (2nd time in about a week, ugh!) to buy an clear jug to make sun tea in. So I wandered over to the toy department -- no big surprise here! I ended up finding those 1/87 scale cars again. They are perfect for HO scale railroads and Walmart is selling them for only $1 each in a clear display case. So I bought one of ( Read more... )

For those that know me you know that I love toys and have a real soft spot for model trains. I am really into HO and N scale trains.
