Kuroshitsuji (anime rant)

Ok, haven't updated in months, but i feel like i need to express some thoughts on the latest anime i just finished watching... so i've been really into this series called kuroshitsuji lately. it's about a a rich 12 year old boy from a noble family in what looks like the early 1900's. He goes through some suffering and watches his parents die, becomes bent on revenge, and makes a contract with a demon in exchange for his soul. The demon then pretends to be his butler until the revenge is invoked. It's an interesting premise with lots of action, comedy, and interesting characters. ok, the plot isn't fantastic. in fact, it's pretty obvious who killed the guys parents, but still, getting to the end was interesting. it wasn't a happy go lucky ending either. i'll just say it ended the way i figured it would and i'm a total wuss and totally balled my eyes out at the end. T_T but it was so good!!

to those who have watched it, what do you think? i was sure that sebastian was going to take ciel's soul at the end, but still, it was a shock to see it happen, y'know? i'm still so sad over it!! i really, really wish the series was longer. i mean, the ending was good, i just wish they'd take more time building up to it! i wonder if ciel's soul kind of lives on in sebastian now that he's taken it? aargh! i wish there was more!
