"Hey Yoseob! Why do we even have to go here. We have a lot of homewo-"

"You can do them at the bleachers okay? Just stop bitching."

"I just don't see why we have to go to this stupid track thingy. Oh my god don't tell me it's because of," Hyunseung didn't even bother to finish his sentence since it was so obvious.

"Okay so I'm only going to this so I can see Doojoon. Got a problem with that? Besides, I heard Junhyung will be there too."

"What makes you think I like Junhyung?"

"To be honest I don't really know. But you totally blushed when I said his name!"

"No I didn't!"

"Dude you're blushing again."

"No I'm not!" he protested as he rubbed the smudges off his glasses.

"Hyunseung, do you seriously think you can lie to me."

"Well... no." he admitted in defeat.

"Exactly! And that is why we are going to watch the track team practice."

Yoseob sat at the very back of the bleachers to get a perfect view. Something about being so high up and windy scared Hyunseung so he opted to sit on the seats closest to the ground. Bad idea. Soon the entire row was filled with water bottles, towels, backpacks, you name it. Someone even brought their dog along. So Hyunseung was forced to go to the second row. Without even realizing it, he sat behind a certain someone's belongings. All the boys of the track team lined up. It was obvious who the best runners were because of the way they carried themselves.

Junhyung looked to the side expecting to see the normal: the annoying blonde kid, everyone's stuff, Coach's dog and the bleachers. So seeing his lab partner there was a pleasant surprise. It was usually him who just sat there and looked at the other in awe. Hey, chemistry is a hundred times harder than it looks okay? Now it was his turn to show what he could do. He took a deep breath and prepared for the run. He complained in his mind for actually trying his best. But he convinced himself that all the effort would definitely be worth it.

The whistle blew and he took off. He only put a little bit more effort in so he was surprised when he was able to keep up with Doojoon's pace.

Two minutes later...

Junhyung was halfway through his third lap. His lungs felt as if they were on fire and his legs felt kinda numb. He was able to pass Doojoon at the beginning of the second lap and has been in the lead ever since. When he was starting his fourth and final lap his chest was hurting even worse now but he kept going. He glanced at the bleachers to see that Hyunseung had not once looked up from his homework. At least he got to see Doojoon's fanboy in shock.

He pushed himself even harder, though he felt like he couldn't run anymore. His legs were starting to feel heavy. The rough asphalt track didn't help. With all his strength, he sprinted the last 100 meters. He dropped to his knees when he passed the line and placed a hand on the ground to steady himself. He winced at the pain in his chest as he tried to catch his breath. He definitely isn't doing that again.

"Hey Yong over here!" yelled the coach. Junhyung hesitantly got up and walked over to him.

"Yes sir?"

"Is something wrong? Family issues? You got yourself a girlfriend?"

"Nothing sir. Why are you asking me?"

"You didn't nag. Not once! And you beat Doojoon too," he said as the rest of the team ran past them. "Eh, forget it kid. I should just be thankful you're finally taking this seriously." Junhyung nodded and walked away. Okay, so even the coach noticed he was working hard. But why hadn't Hyunseung watched him? Or even just glance at him for that matter.

Plan A failed miserably so it was time for the super desparate and attention whoring Plan B. It was something he quickly formulated in his mind while he was running. Which meant that either this would be a major disaster or be one the most brilliant things he's ever thought of.

Junhyung walked over to where his water bottle was. Oh, how convenient. Hyunseung sat just behind it. He noticed he got a little too close to make his grand entrance so he walked back, hoping the other still hasn't looked at him. He took a deep breath and began the first phase of Plan B.

Junhyung walked in the most seductive way he can. He then ran his hand through his hair and flashed his killer smile. Okay he isn't looking. He smoothly took off the shirt he was wearing, not once did he look away from Hyunseung. He twisted the lid of the plastic bottle and raised it to his lips. Junhyung drank the water slowly and let some of the water drip from his chin and onto his chest. Still not looking huh? Junhyung completely took off the top of the bottle and poured the remaining all over himself. Soaking his hair and letting the water mix with the sweat on his body.

"Aish! Fuck this I'm going home!" he yelled when the older male still didn't pay attention to him. He grabbed all his things and headed to the locker room.

Little did he know that Hyunseung was watching the entire time. Hyunseung never thought that getting those Transitions lenses would be helpful someday.

"Yoseob, I think I'm going home too," he said as he wiped away the blood from his nose.
