Of Denmark and Snipers

I've officially run out of witty ways to start my lj entries...(Not that any of my ways were witty before.)  Basically all that's going on is school stuff.  *shrug*  Last week felt strange, I don't know why, it was like I was waiting for something.  I just don't know what.  Of course, last week was marked by 3 events. 1. Random boy in my homeroom asks if I want anything from France.  It startled me and I know I handled it just the way someone who is startled handles those situations.  You know, the "Uh...I...don't...know...?" that really just makes you look stupid.  *le sigh* 2. Mr. Earl commented that "we need to have a chat.  I don't know you."  Yeah, okay, I'm sure we will. *eye roll*  I hope that doesn't mean he'll start calling on me now. ><  3. Evac drill, which sadly didn't take as long as I would have liked.  We still had to do gym. ;-;  That was the school week.  The weekend was a bit different.  Homecoming was last night.  Didn't go.  Never do.  The only "dance" I'm willing go to is Prom.  That's the only one I'll mess with.  Instead, I went to see Beowulf with Ryan, Tim, Eric, Frankie, and Dave.  Twas good, I liked it.  Though I couldn't take Beowulf's fight with Grendel seriously and I had no idea what Grendel was saying.  XD  But I liked it.  I got home at about 10 and then stayed up to watch Death Note, because I haven't been able to get my hands on the manga. (Would have last night at the mall, but stupid Mike was late and we wasted half and hour waiting for him.  And he NEVER showed.)  I plan to rent it from the library...eventually.  What does "Item hold expired" mean?  Because that's what Vol.1 is at the library.  This week is "sprit week" which means pep rally.  *bangs head on desk*  It's never fun.  Well, I lied.  Sophmore year it was fun.  The boys were in gold short-shorts and on rollerskates.  XD But I don't want the boys in my class to do that...I think I'd vomit.  But Thanksgiving it coming up and that should be good.  ^^  Welp, I have homework...better do it.
