Of Universities, Coffee, and Blue Men
Well, four day weekends are quite wonderful. XD Thursday was a lazy day. Friday was boring until 7. I had the wonderful opportunity to see Blueman Group last night with Jaci and her mummy! XD It was so awesome! It was so cool how they manage to combine a bunch of different elements into their performance. It's not just sound, but the use of color, humor, interaction, and even a bit of intellectual thinking. It's an experience, an awesome one! It was great! I'd go again! If I'm ever in Vegas, I'll make it a point to go. I didn't get home until about 11, which isn't that late, but it took me a little while before I could go to bed since my ears were ringing. (No matter what I say, I actually enjoy the feel of a bass resonating through my chest. *is an odd person*)
Today was Rutgers' open house, so we went. And...I really like it there. It's strange that I should like that campus so much, but dislike TCNJ's campus. (When I say dislike I mean that nothing jumped out at me and was like Sweet.) There was just something I really liked about it. I got a sweatshirt, too. ^^ Is it sad that I have a college sweatshirt but not one of my high school's? XD But, yes, I really like Rutgers. My dad isn't too thrilled that I liked it, he really wants me to go to TCNJ, but it kinda all comes down to money. So, I just need to get my shit together and put in an application. *le sigh*
In other news, I was devistated to learn that it would cost us almost $400 to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra. ;-; I adore them! I really wish we could go. *le sigh* I have a new anime/manga that I'm slowly getting sucked into. Death Note. *nod nod* Owen really wanted me to read it and I've seen some of the anime, so now I have to read it, because Adult Swim is slow. That's about it. I'm gonna go do some PreCalc homework...ew...math...
