RaMbLe~ rAmBlE~ RaMbLe~*!

So what's up everyone? 4am... yeah, completely taking advantage of the fact i don't have school in the morn/don't have an exam until the 10th of Dec. lol.

A lot of reflective thoughts have crossed my mind for the past few days, thought i should write it down.

First of all, I watched the drama Majo no Jouken (11 eps straight! I shall never regain those 440min of my life again xD). It was a good drama though i have to admit, takki looked adorable (17 at the time). So adorable i'm actually considering watching another one of his dramas. Anyways, the drama was pretty good.... it left a pretty good impression on me, kind of like 1 litre of tears. Some ppl don't like this drama, and i completely understand why. i mean, the student-teacher relationship that's involved... for you to truly enjoy this drama, u have to de-sensitize urself from normal US/Canadian? customs that a student-teacher relationship is entirely wrong becuz the whole drama focuses on this relationship. It focuses on how these 2 ppl try to break away from society's hold on them. I said it once, and i'll say it again.... this drama left quite an impression on me like 1 litre of tears except not as...... depressing? It's not like 1 litre of tears where if u finish it, u might end up thinking, "wow........ i'm absolutely doing nothign with my life, i gotta do something right now!" this one is more of.... trying to discover urself and not losing ur identity. The 2 ppl in this relationship try to stay together and try to find their "place of freedom" where their relationship is approved of and they can be themselves. It's a really touching love story becuz the 2 lovers originally succumbed to society and then they found each other. And i completely understand why they never want to separate... becuz they've both been alone for so long.... losing themselves... and when they found each other.... u found urself. They brought out the best in each other, and why would u wanna ever let that significant other go then if they made you that happy? I can totally understand. Anyways, the ending of the drama totally caught me off guard, i supposed that's why i can't get this drama out of my head... i've been going back and re-watching certain scenes countless times just becuz it left in aw. The ending is an ambiguous ending that's open to interpretation.... the ending can be REALLY cute where ur just like, "AW~~~~~" or can be really happy yet depressing at the same time... which unfortunately.... is the interpretation i got. After all the struggles they've been through... they're only place of freedom is in their dreams.... That's such a bitter-sweet thought.... It also kinda left this message to me

"A place that we'll always have for just us.... away from the eyes and serpent-tongue of society... where time stops........... is our dreams....."

It's a bitter-sweet message. And it gets me everytime to the point now that i hear Utada Hikaru's First Love (it's the theme song) i have to stop and think, and possibly tear a bit, depends on how depressing the thought is.

Also, there were other quotes that i REALLY liked. This is my favourite:

"Please remember how you write freedom (Referring to the kanji character). It's written, 'The reason one exists.'"

Anyways, I just really like this drama becuz of the impression it left with me... plus the symbolisms... it's jsut the way everything's incorporated is beautiful. But i just REALLY love the end... just the last 2 minutes.... makes me tear.... but hey, i'm a baby for sappy stories ^^
