Sunday, and the break ahead
So, I worked today.. change up from the normal no Saturday routine. The dropout, ex-pin jockey, slighty annoying, smoker Steve, whom I've known since the 5th grade, worked with me. Well, Steve is alright, but only in small doses. One of his problems is that he is more pompous than I am, which is quite a feat to accomplish, so we had battles over videos to watch all day. He choose He-Man, Rocky 4, and the In Crowd; I went for Wonder Boys, the Big Lebowski, and an episode of South Park(only had 30 minutes near close). I was paid to the tune of $60... which sucked. On Saturday, I get $80, so I was understandably pissed. Sure, I work more hours on Saturday, but when it comes down to it, its still a day I waste doing crap I would rather not do in order to have more fun when I actually do have time for it. A wasted day is a wasted day, and deserves equal pay. So, that really sucked. To make matters worse, I'm looking at having jack shit to do over break, that sucks. So, all you folks who read my journal, lets do a whole shitload of something.. I don't wanna spend the next two weeks doing absolutely nothing. Not to mention the fact that something has to go down on my birthday, even though it is the 30th of December. All I have planned so far is registering to vote... how boring is that? Maybe a lotto ticket, but I doubt it. Anyway, have to get something together, maybe watch a whole bunch of my favorite films.. The Harder They Come, Akira Kurosawa's Dreams, Branded to Kill, Dr. Strangelove, A Clockwork Orange, and (of course) Perfect Blue. So, don't make any plans, it'll be great.
