Paris is so big that it's impossible to cover it in 4 days and nights. There's so much to do, see and of course, eat.
C and I worked out a system such that we either order one dessert to share or two different types to share so that we can try different sweets from word-of-mouth stores. Yet, there are so many more shops we haven't gone to.
Breakfast isn't big in Paris so we just folloe the crowd to get hearty baguettes or croissants to go with coffee. Simple yet delicious.
As for mains, we tend to eat good set lunches as they are attractively priced at 15-20 euros per pax for a 3-course without wine. Especially loved duck confit, chicken and beef.
Dinner tends to be a salad and a main course to share since we pigged out the whole day eating desserts at all hours. The best dinner is to eat spicy instant noodles in the hotel room. Yup, I brought along a very handy travel cooker. Don't know why but we love to eat that when it's cold.
