That's one of the episodes I've seen.

I thought it was neat, but I always wondered how the people of the original culture are supposed to have learnt the myths the language is based on in the first place. (Hmm... innate biologically-inherited myths?)

Yeah...I was wondering that as well...

Maybe there's a specialized class or dynasty or something - people who are specially trained as storytellers in charge of necessary cultural transmission. They're allowed to use verbs. :P

...or maybe they just watch an awful lot of TV.
