March 15th deadline to protest live bait training in Indiana

Mar 10, 2010 15:25

In Indiana, hunters train their hunting dogs with live coyotes and foxes. . . except these animals don't have a chance: ONE lone fox or coyote is PENNED IN an enclosed area with no escape. Kinship Circle has all the info for writing or calling the Governor's office and the Indiana Natural Resources Commission to voice opposition to this gruesome torture.

Hunters are a minority in the population. But it's not just a matter of majority rule: there is no excuse for this kind of cruelty in any civilized nation. (Okay, so we're not civilized. Doesn't mean we stop trying to be.)

Kinship Circle website info here.

I'd advise you don't watch the vids. Just the stills are bad enough.
