Bullyland peregrine migrates south

Jan 14, 2008 11:43

The peregrine falcon (made by Bullyland) from my Schleich forest has set off on a journey to Africa where he was going to overwinter.
I have photographed his trip and his first days way down South.

It’s Fall in the boreal forest where the peregrine breeds and spends the warm season.

The falcon is ready to fly South. He bids his farewell and gets under headway.

The Mediterranean Sea is already behind and the peregrine takes a rest on aloe tree.

At last he reached Central Africa. This is what he has seen first (that’s a real bird-eye view!:)

The falcon started with observing the vicinity.

The bird flew down to a pond to drink some water after the journey...

…and was almost coped by a crocodile!

It’d be better to sit on the top of a tree for a while and to look around.

That is what the peregrine sees from the top. The crocodile is far below now and the peregrine likes such state of things much more.

What picture did you like the most? As for me, my favourite one here is #8 (where the falcon sits on the very top of a tree)
