In my wildlife displays leopards dwell in South-East Asia. But recently I took the newer Schleich leopard to a trip to my African display and made a photo report of his (mis)adventures there.
The leopard peeps out of shrubs and views the new landscape around.
Let’s see what’s interesting here.
He decides to climb a lapsided tree to overlook the surroundings.
He feels a bit anxious in the new place.
It’s a rather cozy and obscure corner, but the leopard has to leave it to go on the prowl. Notice the gorilla looking askance at the predator.
The leopard is approaching a nice looking hill in search of prey. And he doesn’t know that the hill is used as a lie by lions! And didn’t smell out a lion cub in the underbrush…
The angry mother is already there!
The leopard has to turn his back.
And after one more conflict (this time with a rhino) the leopard decided to make himself scarce. Back to India?
