getting away was egzactly what i needed. we had a blast, eventhough we didn't really do anything too exciting...but me and Christy bonded, so that was worth it.
here's the quick version of the past couple days cuz i'm too spent to make this interesting:
- chatted with Christy on AIM Sunday night for about 15 minutes, 1hr later we're on the road to Vegas.
- left around 1am, got to the Sahara around 5:30am
- luckily, we didn't have to wait long cuz the nice receptionist let us check in at 7:30 instead of 10.
- i introduced Christy to the craps table, and know she's an addict
- i spilled sunblock all over her backseat and i felt bad
- went to Paris to eat at the best buffet, and didn't really eat much
- went to Circus Circus and watched all the little kids win all the BIG prizes (we won these little duckies though, so i walked away with a lil dignity)
- played more craps and made friends with everybody working the table (Fred "uh-huh", Erik, and Daniel)
- FINALLY went to Hard Rock and bought a kickass t-shirt!!! Hard Rock is the shit, you can feel the energy as soon as you step inside. I refuse to stay anywhere else now other than Hard Rock. it is THAT dope.
- Tuesday, laid out at the pool (i got friggin dark)
- went to Primm to go shop. bought some courds, Christy bought a tank and a halter top against her will
- went back to the Sahara and played more craps...she's really got it down now.
- decided to check out early and left around 2am. finally got home around 6:10 and crashed.
It was so much fun because everything was so spontaneous (made most of our decisions by flipping a coin). But i got a deeper sense of just how much i love HER. everything reminded me of her...from the chocolate covered strawberries at Paris, to the little girl i saw asking her mom for high-fives. i can't escape her. and eventhough i am moving on with my life (so to speak), everyday that passes just builds up my feelings for her more. hope is beginning to build again. i guess its just the dreamer in me. but who cares, whatever happens...happens.
