As long as you plan on sticking around for a long, long time ( :p ) I see no reason why we can't move the applications to be submitted at this post instead of in the elite_hogwarts post? Up to you.

That would be fine with me--recieving comment emails would make my life simpler, and this is my favorite-ist part of H_E, so... :) I'd like to wait until after this next casting round to do so though. Also, I'm not familiar with the html that makes a text box--like the one the app is listed in on the elite_hogwarts page, so I'll need some help with that.

Text boxes are made with <*textarea> and <*/textarea>. Simple!

That is entirely too easy... I figured it was some grand mystery of HTML that only the 137 and powerful are privy to.

Okay, this post is all set up to recieve applications. We're in business!

Are y'all casting any more characters? If so, is the list of needed characters still the same? Let me know.

Character Personality: Alice was decisively sorted into Gryffindor. She well-displayed the house's characteristics of passion, daring, and chivalry. Furthermore, Alice is primarily led by her sense of morality. She is not impractically idealistic, but she does think that there is a right and fair way things ought to be done that is not impossible, and that a just society is not out of reach. This can cause her to see things in something of a black and white manner: not that a given action is always good or always bad, but that a certain idea is, and the supporters of whatever idea. Recent Ministry policies (permitting the use of the Unforgivables in necessary circumstances) make Alice somewhat uneasy, as she is now being told that it is acceptable to use what she was taught were heinous spells in the effort to bring peace. The side in her that the Sorting Hat wanted to place in Hufflepuff sees injustice in the policy, that Britain has a tried and true fair system for arresting and trying criminals, but the prominent side in her ( ... )

Proposed Played-By: (Who will represent your character in your icons?) I'm planning on using Kirsten Dunst, who's in some of the current icons.

Sample journal entry: (First person, 200+ words)
One day and two months left until the wedding. The schedule my mother gave me tells me that now is the time to finalize the wedding party clothing and to talk to the florists and pick the music. I think it's settled that I am wearing the dress I have chosen, and if Mrs. Longbottom doesn't like it she'll have to get over it and remember that she's not the bride this time around. My own Mum has accepted that it's not even really pink. It's mostly white, with a light pink trim and underlay. Honestly, you'd think I was looking at black funeral robes or some red sequined thing.
Frank, if you'd like to help out on the wedding music, I think it would be a great area for you to take care of that won't ruin the whole affairThe job is going well. A bit hectic, but I can't say I didn't expect that. I wanted a fast-paced high-pressure work ( ... )
