Although a lot of our time in Kauai was spent having fun in the sun, I had a little time one morning to do some sketching and doodling.
I doodled some words--the names we'd given the various kitties that hung around our house, drew some sea critter shapes inspired by some of the animals I saw while snorkeling, and sketched some branches of one of the plants that was in front of the front porch.
OK Kitty was short for "Our Kitty Kitty" because she hung out exclusively around the Love Shack, while the other cats got around a bit more. Here's a photo:
HK Kitty was short for "Hitler Kitty Kitty" (he was black and white, with a black mustache mark of the appropriate size and shape just under his nose) as you can see:
His real name is Squeakers.
I didn't get a photo of BB Kitty because he mostly came around at night. He was named for a feature that is often removed in male cats these days. He displayed his endowment proudly, so "Big Balls Kitty" it was. He actually had a collar and would escape the neighbor's by jumping off the roof! He was mostly white with some tan coloring, and was very small and dainty in most regards. His real name is Sammy.
