I haven't been doing too much finished art lately because I've been having fun trying out some new watercolors in my sketchbook (yay for the watercolor test sheet from Daniel Smith!).
I wanted to zero in on which of the quinacridone reds and pinks I like the best, so I did a simple composition of triangles.
It's always tricky capturing reds from a scan or a photo, so the color isn't all that accurate, but it's the best I could get.
Just for fun, I then adjusted the colors in photoshop so they were really bright, then I added some lines in illustrator and switched them up.
I'm quite fond of the final result.
