later and later
When I left on Friday, everyone in the office was planning to be here today, Sunday, for a seminar. The time was set to meet at 11am. I left a little early on friday, and on my way out my direct boss said he wouldn't be able to be here til 12:15, but assured me that we'd still start at 11am, and just discuss other stuff before he could get there. I told him that if anything changes he should just email or call me.
I got here at 10:50 this morning; a little early, but that's just 'cause I was trying to be responsible and such. I was actually a little surprised that no one else was around. When no one else was around at 11am, I started to wonder. At 11:05 I texted my boss. At 11:07 I updated my fb status about the fact that I was the only one here. At 11:15 I went to Starbucks down the road.
I sipped a caramel machiatto and doodled for about an hour.
I got back to the office around 12:15, and still NO ONE. My boss hasn't texted me back.
I'm going to go home at 12:30 if no one has shown up by then.
