The photo bug bit me today, and not only did I walk around the house and take pictures of springtime, I actually got the photos on my computer, edited them and uploaded them! I've been watching as different plants grow and blossom, and I took my camera and my dog Otto for a little walk, just around the house to snap some shots of some of the changes going on.
This is an azalea that's blooming but still in its pot. It is sitting on the driveway, waiting to be planted.
Click on any of them to get to flickr if you want to see a few more photos from my springtime stroll.
this is a branch from the same azalea plant pictured above. the second branch is actually my cat's tail.
some grape hyacinths. one of my faves.
the dogwoods are starting to bloom!
and the lilac! this makes me incredibly happy because it's pretty and it smells SO good.
here's a picture of the boat trailer. the grass is just starting to over grow it.
and here's the boat! and otto. :)
here's otto an the yard. everything that is nice and green and grassy in this photo was bare dirt around this time last year. we had some serious upheaval in our backyard when the septic tank had to be replaced, so it's nice to see the grass taking hold; it makes such a difference!
this is the spray painting table. it has layers and layers of different paint, and the table itself is ancient. notice the bunny ears where I helped my nephew spray paint his wooden easter bunny? notice the bunny ear leaves too?
