First Post Evar
Wow. I just did a little digging and I found out that I've been on LJ in one form or another since February of 2003. That's almost 6 years! I made my first post as beautifulflirt on February 17th and I said this:
There is 3 feet of snow on the ground and I'm not bored because I just set up this journal. When I get bored I will walk miles in the 3 feet and get hair dye to add some color to my life. My feet are freezing. In 15 days I will be up to my toes in sand and my feet will be warm. Yay. Hot Buttered Rum is good.
I begged and pleaded for mercurialdawn to please, please, please write a comment. So she did. She wrote, "so there".
I see that there's another comment from an "anonymous". I don't remember who wrote it, but here it is, and my educated guess would be that it was drunknmatchmakr because she popped in my head, though I can't imagine her joining a cult, even if it was one I started: Today I went to Iguazu Falls. Iguazu means ¨big water¨. Those Guarani people were onto something regarding naming things! You know those cartoons where there is some cartoon rat or monkey rowing a boat, and suddenly they see a waterfall and they either go over, cling to a convenient over-hanging tree branch, or both? Well if you do, you know what Iguazu Falls looks like - the water is sooooo placid, like more so than in a bathtub, and then, BAM, all of a sudden plunging deadly waterfalls. Since people don´t sue in Argentina, they took us under the falls and we had a tonnage of water splashing on us - really fun stuff.
Now onto you. You are great. I am glad you started this thing. Now you can share you greatness with others. If you want to start a cult, sign me up. I follow, you lead. You lead, I - wait, how much are you paying me for this again?
