Chapter 1 ~Higanjima, equinox island~
“Iayda….”
There were people scearming, a creature…no a monster was bitting random people and dinking their blood.
No….I don’t to see anymore!
Minami Takiko woke up in fear. She shivered. Ever since they learnt that the school was taking them on a trip to the equinox island Higanjima, she has been having these nightmares. She would not have gone had not Miko forced her too.
Now she was stuck in the ship seeing these scary images.
“Taki-chan! We are there!!!!” Miko squealed with happiness.
Takiko sighed. Miko’s mother belonged to the island. Miko had always wanted to see it.
“Miko, I am seeing repeated vision, are you sure you want to do this?” Takiko asked.
“Takiko! Stop lying! How long are you going to say such things?” A snobby girl appeared.
Miko suddenly stood in between her and Takiko.
“You should mind your own business. Taki-chan was telling me not you!” With that Miko pulled Takiko away.
~On Higanjima~
Miyabi stoked the young girl’s breast who despite her fears could not help but moan. Miyabi moved forward and kissed her neck and started to move all over her body.
“Human eyes are very truthful. Do you know what I see in your eyes?” Miyabi smirked as he came face to face with the girl.
The girl whimpered and shook her head.
“Hate and fear. Do you know that hate makes the blood more tasty? Yes go on, go on and hate me.” He whispered as he thrust in.
The girl screamed as Miyabi continued with his thrusts. Then he licked the girl’s neck and bit her. The girl screamed even more. Her screams could be heard long and far when she stopped screaming. Her hands fell limp.
“Throw her away. She has fulfilled my hunger.” Miyabi licked the blood off his lips.
The servant dragged the empty body. Miyabi looked at the white moon and at the boat that was approaching in the moonlight.
“So, he brought fresh food huh?” Miyabi smirked.
“Raggae has arrived with them.” Jin bowed.
“Is it true one of them belongs to this island?” Miyabi asked as he ran his hand through his white hair.
“Yes, her mother is the priestess’s daughter. The one who managed to run away from here.” Jin replied.
“Interesting. Yes, I can smell her.” Miyabi sighed when the newly arrived scent excited him.
~Higanjima docks~
“Uwa…..scary….” Nami muttered as she clung to her teacher Yuki.
“It’s okay, we are here to study about night creatures.” Yuki patted Nami.
“I feel that the air is too dense….” Haru exhaled loudly.
“Here you go, just inhale.” Yuto handed an inhaler to Haru who nodded.
“This is higanjima? So mysterious!” Shinju clapped her hands in excitement.
Aoi looked around. The place was definitely scary but there something nostalgic. Something that been long forgotten in terror.
“Taki-chan! Hina-chan! Hayaku!!!” Miko pulled Takiko and Hina with her into the island.
“Girls! Don’t go without us!” Another of their teacher Yaotome Hikaru yelled.
“I know this place!” Miko yelled excitedly as they ran ahead.
All the student and teachers who were now on the dock looked at the over energetic girl and shook their heads.
“Ne…..where is our boat?” One of the student, Yoriko asked.
“You won’t be needing it miss.” The guide bowed.
“Wha...What do you mean?” Yuki asked feeling something was not right,
~Miko, Takiko and Hina~
“Uwa! It’s the hill shrine up there!” Miko squealed.
“Miko…” Takiko stopped
“What’s wrong?” Hina turned to Takiko.
“Let’s get out of here!” Takiko pulled Hina and Miko.
“Ne…Chotto!” Miko said when something pulled her into it’s arms.
A tongue licked her neck.
“Iya! Iyada!!!!” Miko screamed as she struggled against the creature who had attacked her.
“Miko!” Hina and Takiko tired to get close.
“Iyada! Iyada!” Miko cried as she tried to pull away.
Suddenly the creature was pulled away from her. Miko ran to her friends. She looked back. A boy with hair falling on his forehead had beheaded the creature.
“He….He is so dreamy….” Miko blushed when he walked up to her and caught her by her arm.
“Come with me! All three of you!” He commanded and pulled them towards the dock.
~At the dock~
“What are you?” Yuki screeched when she saw the “guide” pick up one of the teachers and bite his neck.
“Let him go!” Yabu rushed to fight the creature but was pushed away.
The students were screaming. There were surrounds by 4 vampires. 3 students had already been dead. They were trying to pick their new victims.
“Iyada! Iyada!” Shinju screamed when a vampire caught her.
“No! Shinju! No!” Yuto tired to pull her away from the creature.
Haru fell to the ground, she was having difficulty breathing. Nami ran to her side and gave her the inhaler, when she was dragged by a creature.
Nami struggled when she felt the creature being pulled away. She turned to see that the “guide” and 3 other vampires were dead. A boy had just beheaded the last one.
“You okay?” He asked her helping her up.
Nami blushed.
“Ryutaro! Inoo! Takagi! Keito! I found the three who had wandered away!” The voice belonged to a boy. He appeared before them. He was holding Miko by her arm while Takiko and Hina were following him.
“Oi! Ryosuke! It’s Takaki not Takagi” The boy named Takaki replied annoyed.
“This is not the time to worry about names!” Ryutaro grumbled.
“Hello, I am Keito. Do you have asthma by any chance?” Keito asked Haru who was using the inhaler to calm down.
Haru nodded. The last boy, Inoo was gathering everyone together.
“Hina-chan! Where did you go?” Yaotome asked Hina who blushed and looked away.
“Miko dragged me with her.” Hina replied.
“Mou….what were those creatures?” Daiki asked exhaling loudly
“Takaki-kun, can you please explain what’s going on? Why was our boat drowned? What do these vampires want?” Mio asked.
“Let me be honest. These vampires come to main land to fetch more food for their master. You guys have been brought for that purpose, you’re lucky we happened to be patrolling nearby.” Takaki replied as he winked at Miko.
“Anyways, stay together! Do any of you know sword fighting?” Ryutaro asked.
“I know a little!” Yuto replied
“So do me and Hika.” Yabu replied.
“I know boxing!” Daiki and Shiki said together and then glared at each other.
“Very well, you should use your skill to fight! You have to stay together and vigilant until you guys reach the camp.” Inoo advised.
“These bastards know how to use mess with your minds! Don’t listen to your mind’s voice! Listen to us! No matter what!” Keito said.
“Let’s get moving!” Ryosuke replied coldly as he let go of Miko.
They walked a few miles. Miko was looking at Ryosuke. She knew she was attracted to him. She looked at Hina. Poor Hina, she had been in love with Yaotome sensei for 3 years. But it was a forbidden relationship. What could she do?
“Come, we will help you.”
One of the students, Hiro looked up.
“You love her don’t you? Come, we will help her become yours before someone else takes her!”
Hiro started to move out of the crowd. Miko saw this.
“Hiro-kun!” Miko followed the boy.
“Oi! What are you doing?” She felt a strong hold on her arm.
“Hiro-kun! He has moved away! We have to find him!” Miko pleaded.
“We have no time----” Suddenly the earth shook and opened up pulling the two.
“MIKO!!!!” Takiko screamed when she saw what happened.
The 4 mysterious boys were also shocked. Suddenly they were surrounded by vampires.
“Jin…..” Takaki grunted when he saw the ring leader walk out.
“Ma….if it isn’t you guys. Don’t worry about Ryosuke and that girl, they will be dead for sure, as for you…you all are going to make a tasty meal!” Jin smirked.
“Just try!” Inoo and the others removed their weapons.
“No…this is just in my dreams.” Takiko shivered,
