While taking his wife, who is pregnant, to Mitsuki Maya (a doctor and lawyer) who is also their friend, Yuto decides to hook Ryosuke with Maya. Can Maya take up the job of bring Ryosuke back to the cheerful JUMP member while falling for him?
Chapter 3 ~confession~
~2 months later~
Maya walked through the hospital confused. Was this the feeling of love? She felt worried when she did not see Ryosuke. Whenever he was close to her, her face was get heated.
She shook her head as she walked to the wending machine when she noticed a couple by the door looking at her.
“Anou…can I help you?” Maya looked at the couple with a smile.
“Ah…yes, we were looking for a Mitsuki Maya.” The woman replied.
“Eh? Looking for me?” Maya pointed at herself.
“We are Ryosuke’s parents….” The man replied.
Maya looked at them. What now?
~In the waiting room~
“Here is some coffee….” Maya set down two plastic cups of coffee.
“Ahh….thank you. You are a nice child…..” Mrs. Yamada said smiling as she took the coffee.
“Ahh…I don’t know….” Maya smiled shyly as she sat down.
“Your parents Mitsuki-san?” Mr. Yamada asked.
“They disowned me.” Maya replied calmly as she sipped her coffee.
“Eh?” Both of them were shocked.
“They are both lawyers. There was a case in the hospital for which they took the side of the doctor who did a malpractice. I fought against them, so they disowned me.” Maya replied.
“Do you try to keep contact with them?” Mrs. Yamada asked.
“I did but they decided I had died and refused to answer my calls. Things got even worse when I supported my younger sister for a marriage my parents were against. So, they don’t want to have anything to do with me.” Maya replied.
“Don’t you think they will reply someday? You are their daughter after all….” Mr. Yamada looked at the girl.
“Not really, in reality I am an adopted daughter, so I don’t think it should matter much.” Maya replied and smiled.
“We are sorry; we did not know….We had come to thank you.” Mrs. Yamada smiled warmly at Maya.
“Thank me?” Miko tilted her head.
“For helping Ryosuke, he has gotten so much more cheerful…..” Mrs. Yamada said cheerfully.
“That snobby, arrogant, unbelievingly smart, Dark aura, Crazy, Depressed over a girl, “don’t you dare criticize me”, narcissistic boy is much more cheerful?” Maya asked dramatically.
“It’s so funny the way you describe him! It’s like you guys know each other quite well….” Mr. Yamada laughed.
“iie…..” Maya blushed.
“We are glad that you are helping him Maya-san.” The couple smiled.
~In the apartment~
Maya walked to the fridge when she noticed Ryosuke sitting on the table solving some puzzle. She crossed him and opened the fridge and took out a bottle of water.
“So I am a snobby, arrogant, unbelievingly smart, dark aura, Crazy, Depressed over a girl, “don’t you dare criticize me”, narcissistic boy?” Ryosuke asked.
Maya suddenly spat out the water she had been drinking and coughed. She started to hit her chest as she chocked.
“You described me quite well in detail. My parents had a good time laughing.” Ryosuke said and smiled at her.
Maya blinked and rushed to Ryosuke’s side. She placed a hand on his forehead and started to check his pulse.
“What?” Ryosuke asked confused.
“You are smiling! I was just making sure you are okay….” Maya said with her eyes wide.
“Oh, I decided to remain cheerful after all, I don’t want live my life depressed over Kaya. I might lose my fan base.” Ryosuke smiled again looking at her.
Maya felt a blush creep onto her cheeks. Her face felt hot and flushed.
“Na…Na…Narcissist!” Maya yelled blushing.
Ryosuke walked towards her. Maya felt her blush deepen, before she noticed anything, Ryosuke slammed her on to a wall and kissed her.
Maya’s eyes grew wide in shock. He was not drunk this time, so….Was this on purpose? She felt herself melt in the kiss. She kissed him back softly.
He kept coming closer as he deepened the kiss. Maya felt as though her breath was being taken away from her, she was pressed between him and the wall.
He broke the kiss panting. “I decided to move on because I have a real love to pursue, even if she is not ready to accept me yet, it’s okay, but I need her.” Ryosuke whispered.
Maya could feel his warm breath. Seeing his panting face and the closeness of his lips to her lips, she was tempted to kiss him again.
“Who is she?” Maya asked as her heart beat raced.
“The one I am going to kiss again.” Ryosuke replied and kissed her again.
Maya closed her eyes, allowing him the freedom of kissing her. Her hands rose to his head, pulling him closer to her. She felt his tongue enter her craven. She moaned, she tightened her grip around him.
“I love you Maya. I don’t care much about the way you are; all I know is that I love you.” Ryosuke whispered to her as he broke the kiss.
“Ryosuke….” Maya felt tears build in her eye.
She leaned on his chest, his hands wrapped around her. He stroked her hair as they leaned onto the wall.
“I…I…” Maya could not speak she just tightened her embrace.
“Do you feel the same?” Ryosuke asked as he nuzzled her neck, his hand moved to her cheek.
Maya nodded and closed her eyes as she increased her hold on him. There was a sudden knock on the door which caused them to pull away. Maya rushed to the door. It was Yuto and Suzuka.
“Yo! We just happened to be passing by!” Yuto said smiling.
“Why are you both blushing? Did something happen?” Suzuka teased as she entered and sat on the couch.
“Not really?” Maya blushed as she settled next to Suzuka.
“You have no timing Yuto!” Ryosuke complained as he and Yuto talked in the hallway while Suzuka and Maya talked in the kitchen.
“Eh? Why?” Yuto giggled.
“Things were just going fine….” Ryosuke replied.
“You confessed?” Yuto asked.
“He confessed?!?!?” Suzuka asked surprised.
Maya smiled shyly and nodded. There was a tint of pinkness on her cheek.
“Maya! Yokata!” Suzuka said when suddenly she huffed.
“Suzu-chan?”
“I think she’s coming out….” Suzuka huffed.
“Hayaku!” Maya opened the room she kept locked.
She quickly transferred Suzuka to the room. Suzuka had started to sweat and she was soon whimpering.
“Hello? This Dr. Maya, I need a nurse right now!” Maya said on her phone as she massaged Suzuka’s womb.
“What’s going on?” Yuto entered worried with Ryosuke.
“Her water bag broke, it’s time.” Maya said when the nurse rushed in.
“Okay, here we go!” Maya quickly changed into a hospital gown.
~12 hours later~
Yuto and Ryosuke waited outside the room. They could still hear Suzuka’s scream and Maya’s reassuring voice. Yuto was pale.
“Is this normal? It’s been 12 hours…” Yuto shivered.
“I think it is….Maya told me that some labors take a day….” Ryosuke said.
There was a loud scream from Suzuka which was followed by the sound of wailing. Yuto stood up and ran into the room. Maya was smiling holding a wailing infant.
“It’s over.” Maya smiled and handed the baby to Suzuka who smiled on holding her child.
“Hey sweetheart…..” Suzuka called out to her child who was whimpering.
“She looks like me!” Yuto said excitedly.
“The baby’s bit heavy but everything is normal.” Maya smiled.
Ryosuke smiled on seeing the baby. He silently stroked the baby’s fist. The baby’s hand closed over his finger.
“She likes you….” Suzuka replied seeing the baby’s movement.
~4 hours later~
“Why don’t you rest?” Ryosuke asked.
“eh? No no…it’s okay…I have to write this down.” Maya smiled.
“You have not been sleeping properly, come on.” Ryosuke hugged Maya from behind.
“Ryosuke…I…” Maya sighed as he lifted her off the chair.
“I don’t want to see my girlfriend tire herself out.” Ryosuke smiled.
“Girlfriend?” Maya asked sleepily as he laid her on her bed.
“Un.” Ryosuke stroked her hair.
Maya smiled as she slept off. Ryosuke kissed her forehead.
“I love you Maya…” He whispered in her ear.
~Elsewhere~
“So, how are the preparations?” Kaya asked as she looked her plan’s progress.
“It’s all ready…” The man bowed.
“Very good. Just watch Maya, just watch how I take Ryosuke away from you.” Kaya smirked.
