Because dammit, I'm determined to at least finish posting Auld Acquaintance before Joss Josses me with the comics.
Problem is, I made the mistake of not keeping consistent files, and I never turn on version control or anything like that (yes, I've now learned my lesson). So I've got two versions of the same fic -- and they're just different enough that I have to go through them line by line to figure out what's what, because the dates don't mean anything under the circumstances.
The whole feckin' thing (mind you, this is including headers and the first two parts that have been posted, but still) is 22 pages.
*tears hair out*
Not like anyone's going to read the stupid thing even supposing I get it posted, but I feel better about the writing in it, now, so... yeah.

DONE. I'd race around the house with my shirt up like a soccer player, but it's cold, it's late, and I'm way too tired. But yay! I'm going to sleep on it and maybe post a couple of parts of it tomorrow (no, really). Because the worst part of all this is that tonight I realized that the first two parts were posted just over a year ago, and I've posted none of it since, even though it's pretty much complete. *facepalm* I suck.
