Flustered and surprised...
I awoke in time to realize that I had woken up far too late to do anything that involved hw this morning, but enough time to work on my CHE stuff. It was fine and the pay was interesting. greystrata was pretty knocked out from sleeping late and so I thought it best that she just get some shut eye. Went to Smart Alec's with Anna, esjayanya and lilpanda04 today and had a good meal (minus the dijon mustard on the tuna sandwiches that Anna and I thought was McNasty) and light chatter that has the semblance of catching up.
I was surprised to receive a nice and belated b-day gift from Anna. It's very practical and inadvertently solved a problem I was worried about. ^_^ I really liked it and the card was awesomely funny and thoughtful. LOL. XD Afterwards we all went our separate ways, me heading for VLSB where I met up with my fellow CHE-istas to continue working on our board. Again I was surprised and even grew flustered as I received several praises from guys and girls about my efforts on the wooden carvings of our logo. It felt nice to be praised for something that I normally wouldn't be praised for and I will admit that I think I blushed. (When a particular guy said something.)
Alas I came home tired as heck and to a half-naked greystrata who had awoken a bit disoriented, but ready to begin the day er- evening. ^_^ Ate a snack and then tried to go to sleep before my conscious got to me and I remembered that I had laundry to do. With the help of R_Y_L_L (for reasons that are too funny to explain) I managed to do it with Olympic speed. For now I think I'll end the day with some mild relaxation because these next few weeks will be hell. ^_^;;
