Oh my. It seems my old love John Cusack is still sexy!

I never posted about it, but I saw and loved Iron Man last month and read all the fanfics recced by nindeoronra and I'd love to see it again but haven't yet.
Future
For quite a while now, I've been having a running bet with myself over which of two TV series that I have on DVD I'd watch first - Firefly, which connielane generously gave me and occasionally pokes at me to watch, or Avatar, the Last Airbender, which my kids have been assiduously encouraging me to try for over a year (with help from peachespig's posts). I was betting on Firefly - it's shorter and, most importantly, has HOT MAL - but it turns out that my kids' ingenuity, persistence, and willingness to offer bribes finally won out.
I'm currently five episodes into the second season and beginning to like it quite a bit, though I was very skeptical after the first couple of episodes, which I found dumb and childish. But it gets better as it goes, and I expect I'll keep watching until I catch up. YAY, at last I can read you guys' Avatar posts!
