Well, now that I've gotten through the first round of exams, I'll hopefully catch a bit of a break for a few weeks (for the past three weeks, I've managed maybe three/four hours of sleep a night, which simply doesn't work for me!). Sadly enough, I got so used to not going to bed that whenever I did manage to make it into bed, my body would inevitably think it was a weekend and I'd end up oversleeping. My poor Mechanics professor. ;)
This next week is going to be a bit crazy with practices for Pigskin, which is Baylor's Homecoming encore performance of last semester's
Sing. Eight hours of practice plus work plus classes is going to get a little hectic!
And unfortunately, I fell off of a trampoline yesterday. Well, okay, I guess it wasn't so much "falling off" as it was "meaning to jump on the edge and actually jumping off." Accidentally. I didn't even hit the mat, either; I landed on the floor and was sprawled there for a few minutes as pain shot through my foot (I suppose it was bad that I had been trying to see how high I could jump -- clearly, there are reasons why people generally can't fall long distances without hurting themselves!). I don't know how I get myself into these situations, but since I can't really put any weight on that foot at the moment, today's practice didn't go so well. *pokes foot* Get better!!
I am so ridiculous, ha.
