(no subject)
i tried to update a few days ago, but when i hit "update journal," my entry disappeared. so i will try to recap:
-My brother is now in college. Ursinus College, to be exact. It's near King of Prussia. He seems to be adjusting better than I would have predicted. In fact, he may be adjusting better than I did in my freshman year. For instance, he hasn't flipped out and nearly ended up in a psychiatric ward.
-My cousin had her wedding in Los Angeles the weekend before the last one. Her husband is in the movie executive business or something like that. My brother was kind of cringing the entire time we (me, my dad, my bro) were there.
-I guess I was too harsh on Audioslave back in 2003 (see back entries). Their new album is pretty sweet, as was their last one.
-I'm taking the GRE in a week. I haven't had a math class in almost a decade. Motherfucking math problems.
-I think my computer is making my joints ache.
-North Korea scares the crap out of me.
Election endorsements:
Bob Casey for U.S. Senate. Yes, Casey is pro-life, but Santorum thinks that Plan B is murder and that women shouldn't work outside the home, among other ridiculous things.
Ed Rendell for Governor of PA. Yeah, he's a bit of a sleazebag, but at least he has a brain. Lynn Swann does not. He probably blew it to smithereens with cocaine back in his glory days.
Democrats all across the board in U.S. House races. The national Republican party as it currently exists MUST DIE. (Hooray, by the way, for GOP hypocrites who hit on 16 yr old boys) That means that no one should vote for a Republican for federal office anywhere.
