I am STILL at school.
LOOOOOOONG story short, hour n a half into the car drive, get near pyramid lake on the grapevine, notice that my battery light is on, then see that my car is overheating. pulll off, power steering doesn't work. check my coolant, everythings fine. call padre. tells me to check my fan belt. oh wait, there is NO FANBELT. has come off. call bmw roadside assistance. 411. AAA. towtruck comes. $160 for tow to BMW dealship 20miles in the opposite direction. guy at dealership is like, umm your water pump is broken, your belt has ocme off and there are NO BLADES on your fan, so you need a new one. and HOPEFULLY none of the blades PUNCTURED your radiator. fun. go to shady ass train station full of shady people and prostitutees. appearntly train doesn't go to burbank airport, but rather a bus, but bus won't leave until 4:45 and it's only 3:30. Jarred up and disappears. Had to catch his bus, but didn't tell me he was leaving. I freak out. Get # for a cab company. Taxi guy was really really mean to me. Really bad driver. Really shady cab. $38.20 later i'm at Burbank airport and decide to not wait/look for a shuttle and get a new taxi. 5:15 and $37.20 later, I'm FINALLY back at oxy. hadn't eaten anything all day. very pissed not to be home. had to leave my stuffed animals in my car the dealership cause i did a shitty packing job. am stressed/sad. :-( have to stay here till monday when car is supposedly going to be fixed....
