Its my Birthday!!!!
Well first off to recap on the car situation. I did get it back and made sure to tell my mom why I felt like I had to do what I did. Hopefully this will open up a dialogue for us to be more honest or at least for her to be able to understand a side of view other than her own. Which I sometimes think that she has a hard time doing.
School: Sarah was supposed to be at my house by 6:45 so that we could get to the park and ride @ UNCG by 7:40-7:45. Instead she showed up at 7:10. EERRGGHHH!!!. So that had me a bit worried. Then we miss our exit and have to go at least 10 mintues out of the way to get back on the highway. That had me even more nervous. Because I knew that we would not be able to find decent parking on campus which meant that we would have wait until the park and ride came back around at 8:00 which would mean us being at least 10-15 minutes late to our first class on the first day. Either way when all was said and done we made it to Gboro just in time. :) I was ecstatic. The first class was Western Civ. Sarah and I had that one together. The teacher is somewhat boring and monotonus; which equals HELL for an 8:00 class. But she let us go early which was good because it gave me enough time to find my next class. It was Mythology. I was excited. The course seems like it is going to be great. My professor needs to do a somewhat better job though of keeping people on the topic at hand. I was barely on time for my 11:00 because the girl I asked told me to go in the opposite direction of the class. Either way I made it in time and that class even though the course material and professor seem interesting, will probably be alot more difficult than I assumed. Historically it has a 30% fail rate. So they are going to arrange Supplemental Instruction. Which I will probably have a hard time attending because of work. So I will really have to try and work my ass off. After classes I met up with Sarah, we ate, went to the bookstore, then went to Student Health Services to drop off her immunization records. We walked and walked and walked. I have never felt so out of shape in my whole life. But I am really excited about starting school again.
Sarah: Is REALLY getting on my nerves. Sometimes I think she is just being Sarah and that she cannot help herself other times I just want to KILL her. Us commuting together and spending that much time together 2 days a week is going to be interesting and a challenge.
Birthday: So far no big to do. Sarah gave me a really really cute Angel Kitty named Angel from Build-A-Bear. Sed and I will celebrate on Saturday. My mom, Sakina, Victoria, and Adam called to wish me Happy Bday and Janelle sent me an IM. So overall the day was good.
