"Uh, look here." --Sir Anthony Hopkins

Half an hour ago I woke up, shuffled out to the living room in the Old Hundred and Eighth, and flipped on a little Price is Right action, not expecting much of anything. This is Thursday in Evins, when 25% of the folks in the 108-110 suite, and 100% of the occupants of Cabin A, have no classes. I don't mean no morning classes, I mean no classes period.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere, and that somewhere is France, where recently promoted Squadron Leader Sedford told me to quit using AIM and try this Live Journal thing. Well, one word. LiveJournal. This way updates from the headquarters can be more easily sent to the hedgehogs in Nantes, and, since these messages aren't coded, to whomever would like to read them, which includes yourself, and I appreciate it.

You have probably gotten your hopes up too high. At least half of this will be garbage that you, personally, won't understand; but everyone who reads this will understand something different, so if you want some 'splaining, find somebody else I know somewhere.

And the design? This moment I have no clue what it is, because S.L. Sedford set all this up for me. It's like those scooter companies.

That done, so, to begin.

If you are in my fantasy football league the BDFLL, stop trying to trade me for Joe Horn. He has already built a house here and signed his kids up for school and his folks don't want to move. Besides I really need him this week, but next week make me a good offer and we will have lunch and maybe trade. Minus lunch.

If you go to Wofford, what does Burwell have today? Tonight?

If you are a Braves fan, listen: if I had a nickel for every win Bobby Cox currently has, how much money would I have?

If you are in the WEF and don't know that Edgeworth David broke the Wofford record at Timmons Park (and I mean score to par, not number of strokes), he shot a 61 two weeks ago. That's eight under par. Also, the 18th was shortened from par 5 to 4, because the pin was moved AGAIN this summer. It's actually short of the small creek and tucked right by the big creek, which makes this hole a tough two-shot hole, not a pull-pull-pitch.

That's probably enough. Thanks, D. Did I type everything right?
