[Jetfire apparently figured out the video-function of the journal very quickly, because that's what pops up; a view of someone white, obviously very large, and metal. As soon as he starts to speak, however, it's clear, for those of you who speak English, that he's not speaking that (or any other langauge mostly anyone here would recognize), so have

And what if it doesn't? You... We have no idea of the capabilities of whoever is in charge, and apparently other things are altered than just, say, our size! Like weapons.
[Jetfire frowns and this time grips both of Starscream's upper arms, turning him around and more to hold him in place than really hindering him from aiming his arm cannons at Jetfire.]
I think I'd survive, though, considering you've already done so, besides whatever alteration may have been done. Can you for once not rush into something? I know you can plan, and shouldn't this situation be one, if any, where to use that and not attack the first best target that presents itself?
[There's nothing pleading here, merely stern reasoning; pleading will not get you anywhere with Starscream, and worse, demanding would have the Seeker being contrary. Jetfire's worried, the situation has him on edge, as well as the claims for why they're here, but Starscream is, perhaps amusingly, something to focus on.]

[Grr Jetfire. Starscream struggles a bit then stops with sort of a huff.]
Fine. You want a plan? Let me go so I can find whoever did brought me here so I can blast their slagging face off.
You can go around and play nice if you want, but not me.

Enough. [Jetfire glares, hoping he can get Starscream to see reason.] Apparently, if you do not follow the rules, you get punished here, and while those punished have been organic so far, I don't think we'd be brought here without a chance to keep us in line!
[He almost feels like pleading. The things Bryn has mentioned... sound more like torture to him, and he doesn't want to see that, or an equivalent thereof, happening to anyone, but particularly not a friend. And yet it sounds as if no one has been able to stop the punishments either.]

Whatever. What do you suppose we do then? Since you're an expert and all.

I don't know, Starscream. Can you at least feel the place out before you attempt anything? I don't think--- [Jetfire suppressed a groan and just shook his helm.]
Neither you nor I are medics; if they have some way of severely injuring you if you attempt anything... What then?

[He grumbles and folds his arms across his chest.]
But if anything attacks or gets in my way, I will do something. I assure you. And you won't be able to stop me. Got it?

Thank you.
[The grumbling, quite frankly, he ignores; usual Starscream behaviour when deigning to do as asked, and when what was asked isn't what he wanted to do.]
Yes, I understand. I would just prefer if you don't go off and get yourself injured immediately after coming here. Talking of injuries... how did Bumblebee fare?
[That seems to be the most neutral way of asking is Starscream did as Jetfire had wanted him to do, even if he hadn't outright asked Starscream to save the yellow minibot.]

I don't know. How does one usually fare when left to a horrible death by explosion due to an insane clone?
Reply
Sunstorm was out of there before I left; Bumblebee wouldn't have died from anything Sunstorm did. And if you mean after the confrontation I was on the way to...
We have no idea of knowing what would have happened, but that would mean you got him out of there, since I assume you'd otherwise have said he'd be starving to death by being stuck in that cave?
[Have another look, even; Jetfire's arms are now crossed over his chestplates. Not. Impressed. Starscream. There's only the two of them in here, do stop being so aggravating; no one else will know you saved Bumblebee.]

Technicalities. You still don't know if I ever bothered. For all you know he could be suffering to his death at this moment.
How does that make you feel? Thinking about the possibility of that poor little yellow Autobot slowly dying?
[Oh yeah he's going there.]

Starscream. Stop that. Did you, or did you not do as I asked? [He's out of patience, and while he does trust Starscream, no matter the attempts here to aggravate him and needle him into not trusting the Seeker with this... If he didn't, there were so many other things to---]
And even if you didn't, on the off-chance, however improbable, that what we've been told is true, he's gone anyway, but I would like to know if you...
[In other words, please stop going there, Starscream.]

I left him on a beach. I'm sure the rest of your stupid Autobot comrades came and picked him up.

Thank you. [Jetfire's thank you, despite the fact that he'd said that Starscream had 'owed him', was genuine, as was trhe small smile. He hadn't really distrusted Starscream on this, otherwise he wouldn't have... well, silently asked the Seeker do it.]
Would you... like to have a look around? [A pause and the smile turns slightly sharper, his optics narrowing a bit.] Without destroying things as we go, though.
Reply
[Because he'd rather look around without you looking over his shoulder making sure he doesn't destroy things.]

... And despite certain factors and the trends of your behaviour, I'd rather have you beside me, at my back, than going around here alone.
[And he doesn't meant that in a 'so I can keep an eye on you', but because you're good at (unfortunately, perhaps) what you do, and you're capable in a fight.]
