08. Warpaint [Video/Action]
[Since Katara's unexpected departure, Sokka has been keeping himself busy. Busy and quiet and absent. Absent from most any place he generally ventures, and engagements he might be expected to attend. He's even spending evenings away from the house, only returning to sleep for a few hour before dawn, and gone not long after sunrise.]
[He is definitely up to something, though he isn't letting anyone in on what it is until now.]
[Sokka's face shows up on screen and he's got his back to the early morning sun, a stone-faced expression, and a focus he generally reserves only for very serious occasions.]
In light of recent events, I thought I'd offer my services to anyone who wants to learn to fight. I know how to use a sword and a boomerang, and I've got some skills in hand-to-hand combat.
I'm glad to teach everyone what I know, but I'm asking for donations if you come out today. It can be anything: food, a skill, clean water, whatever you can offer that might make life a little easier for someone else here. All donations will go back to the people at Adstring, so consider doing this as benefit for everyone.
It's time we start helping each other out a little more, and I want to do my part.
