[It probably hasn't escaped the attention of any familiar residents, that Sokka's already found himself feeling a little less useful than usual. Sure, he's pretty good at settling down amidst all the craziness, but that doesn't mean he's particularly comfortable with his level of usefulness. Or, in this case, uselessness.]

[That's strange, some people here seem completely indifferent to her looks and some others react, well, just like Sokka did. Raven's used to both reactions and just rolls with whichever she gets. She gives a small smirk.] Why thank you. I was told purple brings out my eyes or my skin, I don't remember... [It's not like she can change any of it anyway.]

Admittedly, I wasn't entirely happy to admit defeat, but having someone else around to agree at least makes it a little less awkward...

There's not a whole lot to do. I mean, everything sort of does their own thing, so until I can find myself a job or some kind of distraction, I've got to find a way to entertain myself.

[He laughs, shaking his head.] This used to hold me over back home, but I think I cast my line a little shallow for this place.

No, she didn't. But you see, Katara and I, spend most of our time together meditating. We haven't had much opportunities to discuss about our respective families. [No to mention that it's far from being Raven's favorite subject.]
