Finished V-'s competition dress on saturday and delivered it to her at the rink. Wow, I'm super pleased, because the dress was a perfect fit this time, and needed no further 'futzing' with. :> Had her go out and skate part of her programme in it so we could make sure that it didn't ride up or anything with jumps & spins. All's well, though. :> Her parents like it a lot, too, so I think I may be doing other dresses for her in the future. Which is great, because I think if she continues to apply herself, she'll make it out to Nationals in a couple of years. :> I told her to make sure to get pictures of the finished dress (her mother will be doing the embellishment of rhinestones, sequins, etc), but the picture I most would like to see is the one of her up on the podium, receiving her medal. .

So, now that that project is out of the way, I can start filling some other orders and making some other dresses for Ebay. Used proceeds from V-s dress to purchase more fabric to make Ebay dresses with. Jo-ann's was having a sale, and surprisingly, had some very cool lycra materials, including some liquid foil fabric in pink & in rainbow pastel, with stars scattered throughout, and some black/white opart microfibre lycra. I also picked up some lovely black microfibre lycra with delicate roses picked out with silver dots throughout the material. Also managed to find a solid blue lycra that coordinates nicely with a microdot reflective swirled blue material that I already have, and some hot pink solid lycra to go with a pink-yellow-orange tiedye that I already have. :>

Still waiting for my logo patches to show up from Canada, so I can get my skirt and top done for Toronto (we leave a week from today!). I'm getting pretty excited about that. I loved toronto when I visited last spring, so I'm really happy to be coming back, and getting to stay longer this time. :>

I passed the bank test. I go in tomorrow, to fill out an application and hopefully get a job. ;) I'll probably wear another kilt skirt & sweater. ;) Easy.
