I'm really enjoying this story. I don't know anything about these actors other then a vague idea of what they look like (and even then, not all of the characters. I have no idea who Paul is or if the kidnappers are original characters.) Still, you're doing a great job of reeling me in despite my lack of familiarity with the fandom.

Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying even if you don't know the characters very well. (I thought I was the only person who did that, LOL!) Most of the main characters are from Kingdom of Heaven -- Liam, Orlando, Marton, Thewlis, Brendan, Mr. Irons the stable manager, plus a few others. Mark Vincent is Vin Diesel's real name, and Paul is Paul Walker (see icon above) -- Vin and Paul were in The Fast and the Furious together, which was a merely okay movie but they are massively hot on screen together. :D Samantha is Orlando's real sister; I'm comfortable using her because she's an actress in her own right and is therefore fair game. As I said in the Chapter One notes, I changed his mother's name because she's not an actress, so "Margaret" is an OC, as are most of the walk-on parts.

I appreciate how fast you write and post. Great story and it clips right along. Glad Liam and his wife went their separate ways too. Orlando is such a delicious subject!

I actually have up through Chapter Fourteen written -- I got a bit ahead before coming on the cruise, and then a bit more while I've been here. I'll keep posting, no more than once per day but as time allows, until all fourteen chapters are up, and then I'm afraid that'll be that until December. [hides under keyboard]

And yes, Orlando is definitely a great character; I've written more fic about him than any other single person. :D

My heart is racing. I feel so sorry for Orlando. I want to rush in and rescue him from those horrible kidnappers.

It's clever to have a fake Commerce. Pretty good plan. Obviously it has worked in the past...

However, I see a flaw in Marton's plan. He thinks in time Orlando's (David's) master will get over him. And Marton is wrong, Wrong, WRONG. He thinks Lord Neeson is like all other masters. HA.
