it's only been a year....
wow... a year since the last time i posted... i've been busy and moving thru life like crazy. the past year has been tough at times and interesting to say the least.
i did find a new job, which started off ok but ended badly... i was 'laid off... b/c of hours'... stupid pizza place... everything that was supposed to change didn't. whatever.... i kinda had a feeling that i should've taken that job at octagon that i had the bench test for.... that was fun.. but restaurants (especially good steakhouses) are rough... so anyway, after unemployment for about a month, i got a job for a corporation.... ehh... corporate... crazy regulations and whatnot... but nights and weekends off, paid holidays, benefits etc... people are cool that i work with.. i've been working there for about 3 months now already....
guys are crazy... like seriously.... that's been a rocky area but may be smoothing out slowly.... we'll see..... i'm not counting my chickens....
llyssa turned 3 this year.... made her cake again.... this year it was a strawberry cake with chocolate frosting... she wanted a witch cake so i made her a pretty witch cake... ended up pretty cool... this weekend mary's mom dukes wants me to make a cake for mary's dad's b-day... shhhhhhh!!!! it's a surprise!!!
sandy and i also threw an awesome halloween party..... i'll have to put up some pics later... i'm not gonna mess around with it right now... there was about 30 people there and we had tons of food and alcohol... we can't wait to throw another... look for more stories about the party a t a later time... i'll figure out how to put pics on it....
hmm.... what else... oh! i killed a deer with mercedes!!! (you know.. my sentra..... ) well mary and i were gonna go to this line dancing club up in west bumfuck CT when up around glastonbury there was a deer in the passing lane... so, i thought best action would be to not freak out and hope for the best... needless to say we never made it line dancing. so i didn't have a car for like 2 months or so..... now i have a 'project car'... not intentionally... but i have one... i'm gonna be a certified VW mechanic soon enough! more to follow with this story as well..
anyway.... more later.. i'm supposed to go have breakfast before work today with josh.... he just had another baby!!! i can't wait to see pics! we've got some catching up to do... i haven't chilled with him in a long time.
