No More Work

I love, love, absolute love my work. Even if it's not related to IT. But my colleagues are super nice, the schedule is appropriate, and I'm just really happy. They treated me to lunch on Thursday at a peranakan restaurant, which isn't bad at all, and yesterday got me a card with everyone's wishes and a winter jacket for my trip to Taiwan, which I love so much! And apparently Big Boss and Boss #3 like me a lot - they invite me back to the company after I return from Taiwan, which I'm really happy about. It makes me wish I didn't have to go, but callings come first.

I've been working on my visa this week. The officers at the Taiwan Representative Office were horribly impatient, and it can't be helped that I don't know all the terms they use in Chinese. But Bishop was nice to accompany me for both trips, first to endorse documents on Tuesday, and second to actually apply the visa on Thursday. I've been assured that it will go by smoothly, so I really hope I can get it already on Wednesday. It's really exciting! I'm looking forward to going home too.

I've got lots of shopping to do, but I guess I can draw some first. Or play games. Hmm. ...I miss work already, sigh.
