One Week of Updates

I really should try to update this more.

Last Wednesday, I joined Big Sis at 9:20pm with Long John Silver meals at H&M outlet at Somerset because she wanted to catch the early morning sales of Marni collection. There was already a pretty long queue by then, and she was fortunately the last person in the first row against the wall so it wasn't as tiring and covered by a shade. She went home to shower after, leaving me waiting in the queue for almost 2 hours. It really is kind of tiring to be sitting on the hard floor and leaning against hard wall, though I was really tempted to sleep anyway. Had a book instead, and when Big Sis returned 11:40pm, I went home by cab and went to sleep immediately after a shower - I was that exhausted. At 7:30am, the moment I woke up, I called to check on Big Sis, and she was going on about how she made it overnight with 3-hour sleep and some rain in between. At least she's fine, and it was an interesting experience anyway.

Then on Friday, the office had a farewell dinner at Tonkichi restaurant, Orchard Central for Kevin, of which even Tong Liang came for. Everyone went, which was amazing, and we spent a good long time chatting away before continuing the conversation at Starbucks, only to be chased out at 10:20pm when they were closing. Once again slept late, but still happy anyway.

Did a health checkup for my Taiwan visa yesterday morning at Tan Tock Seng hospital. I finally see my own x-ray film, and it's...kinda scary? Mild scoliosis at the thoracic spine, something like that. This is the most precise result I've gotten so far. Big Sis said I might need back braces soon. Sigh.

So, um, many people are trying to get me to dinner with them since it won't be long before I leave for Taiwan. It touches me, really. I'm having mixed emotions every time though. Gotta leave, don't wanna leave...ah, heck. Time will go by fast.
