(no subject)
I'm so tired. I want sleep but I can't seem to get enough. I always look forward to Saturday mornings where we can sleep in but tomorrow I have the Midgets. They sleep really good in the mornings though so I should be alright.
Jerm has started his new job with EMS. He is very excited. He'll mostly be running "Convo" which is taking patients from nursing homes to hospitals or dialysis appointments and taking them home. He got to run "ALS" yesterday which was emergency/911 calls. He will be working full time 5 days a week from 10-6. IDEAL hours for him. He is NOT a morning person anyways.
He is amazing me more and more all the time. I was shopping with Vikki and the girls on Saturday and then the girls came home with us Saturday night. We had church Sunday morning and Grace's party that afternoon. By Monday, our house was a WRECK!!! I went with Mom to Cool Springs to look at a table and chairs (and some Red Lobster!!!!). I texted him on my way home to see if he'd be home. He said he might be, might not. We pull in and there's his truck sitting there. He comes out to get stuff out of his truck and I say my goodbyes to mom and dad. I step on the porch and hear the dryer. I got a weird feeling. I then step in the door to find that my husband has done ALL the dishes and THREE loads of laundry all by himself. He tells me he had gotten dressed for his fire hall meeting and realized that the house needed cleaning so he STAYED HOME and cleaned. I cried for like 30 minutes.
Tuesday night we found out Jerm's sister is pregnant. Actually both of his sisters are now pregnant. We are officially the only couple not pregnant/parents. I cried again for 30 minutes. I want a baby so bad and to see these people having them left and right hurts me. He keeps telling me that our time will come and we will have one when the time is right. It's so hard with Kailey and Grace b/c they are someone else's children. I love them and I have cared for them since they came into this world.
Gracie's 1st birthday was this past Sunday. Justin and Vikki chose to have it at the COLD and DIRTY Culleoka firehall. They spent all day decorating to put up like 3 streamers and plates. I was so mad. They didn't bother sweeping or anything. I won't go into all the details but at one point I left the party and went outside with Jerm to mind the grill. I stayed out there the entire time the burgers were cooking b/c I was so mad at those children and how they were acting. I was never so glad to leave!!!!!!
Going to get back to work now. I'm being a butthole today and I like it!
