What a week!!!! I got left by myself for 2 days this week at work and still managed to get EVERYTHING done early. I got honey from a Sgt. and spice tea from a Lt. (2 of my favorite guys at the P.D.) I am exicted that I"m off this entire week coming up as well. The wonderful City of Columbia rewarded its employees their 2 Christmas holidays on the 24th and 25th as well as an "energy-saving holiday" on the 26th. Since I had a floating holiday to use before the end of the year, I added a vacation day and took off the entire week. I'm so happy. Happy Birthday to me!
Speaking of my birthday, I turn 25 on Sunday. I'll have 2 cute little blondes and a big dumb boy to spend it with. I'm not where I wanted to be at 25. I have an okay job that is paying the bills but the drama drives me up a freaking wall somedays. I have been married for 2 years but things are not what they used to be there. We fight a lot lately over stupid stuff it seems to him. It's almost gotten to the numb point again where I'm not happy nor sad.
Speaking of him, Jeremy passed his EMT-Basic National Registry this week so now he is just a little paperwork shy of being a licensed EMT-IV (meaning he can give 4 drugs and start IV's). Scary to some of us knowing that this man is the person who could cut you out of your car if you wreck then jam a needle in your arm and what-not. I'm excited. He's really excited. It's one step closer to his dream of being a firefighter. He turns 26 in January and we are hoping to have him full-time employed by then. There are a lot of possibilities for him right now. I just hope he keeps his heart and mind open to the next step. I pray his focus is on what's best for him and his family, not just him. Who knows though?
Kailey and Gracie are sleeping in the next room. They are growing so fast. Kailey will be 2 right after Christmas. Grace's 1st birthday is fast approaching (Feb. 22). They are world and I am so lost when they aren't here. I'm mean though. Kailey knows it. We have some great stuff for Christmas for them. A rocking Eeyore, a Princess table/chairs, a LeapFrog table, etc. for Santa to give them at their house. A Barbie Power Wheels jeep, a Fisher Price table, a MagnaDoodle, and a couple of other cute things for Aunt Angie and Uncle Jeremy to keep at their house. I even have Kailey's birthday present bought: a doll center!
Well I am headed to bed now. All this thinking has left me tired and ready for bed!
