Of course I have no idea about the historical accuracy of anything...

• As predicted, The Aztecs were made up of the requisite all-white cast, in bad wigs.
• I thought the plot held together well. Not too episodic.
• Pointy! Hats!
• Was there really a need for the bad guy to snivel in quite such a Thespian manner.
• And why was his wig all curly-like?

Also, gragathaz and I played Mancala twice last night. First I went first and I won, and then he went first and he won. Sigh. Mancala is like that. At least I did finally get smart and memorize how many pips it takes for a full circuit of the board (14), so I can more efficiently count backwards when the holes are chock full of pips (13, 12, 11 ( Read more... )

Today, I haven't been able to dial up at all. gragathaz was online for a while earlier, but when he turned Ch'an over to me, nothing since. For the last several hours, it's given me the same error message as it gave me a few weeks ago1, which can't be accurate, but probably instead means/meant some problem on the ISP's side ( Read more... )
