Tonight! Fresgo! 6 p.m.!
Last night,
gragathaz and I finished the leftover soup and played games: gomoku with checkers, checkers1, martian chess on the checkersboard2, tic-tac-doh likewise, and at some point in there "the capture game"3. Looking through the stash, I noticed our nice mancala set, which I think I might like to play again soon; it might not be too dull/solved since we've not played in a while.
I then proceeded to stay up too late surfing boardgamegeek.com rating things and reading humourous comments and opening approximately 70 tabs, which I expect to slowly close as the week goes on.
1 Checkers was at his suggestion; I become, amusingly, both bored and angry every time I play.
2 I think I want to print out and nicify the
Martian Chessboard, which would be more compact for travelling.
3 I won about half of the games, but note that my opponent was half asleep.
