Among the other things I got at the used book sale where I acquired the edition of Richard II that discourses on the ex-king's suck powers is a thin volume called Murder at Dunsinane and Other Stories from Shakespeare, Abridged from The Enchanted Island, which is a book of -- well, you can probably guess what it is from the title, can't you?
I am sort of building a collection of tales-from-Shakespeare type books, from the Lambs' version to more recent ones (I have a collection adapted by Leon Garfield which is surprisingly sophisticated in its treatment given the intended audience; I bought it because guess which play turns up in it), and so I couldn't resist picking this one up, especially because the presentation is so hilarious. I reproduce for you the back cover, which I'll put behind a cut because it's sort of a big picture.
