Welp, after going with Jenneke to see Golconda fort this morning (we spent the first 15 minutes going teh wriong way and getting semi-lost, the next 45 minutes getting lots of much needed excercise) we went to see Goblet of Fire this afternoon. What's a Veelas?

Also, is that the biblical/Xenogears Golconda?

You don't need to know a single thing about Veelas as they are completely and utterly an invention of Mrs. Rowling. But I was greatly irritated that no mention of them was made (largely because of the number of fanfics centered around the cencept of their existence).

And I didn't know there was a biblical Golconda. This probably isn't the same one... it's just a big old fort a little ways outside the city. Major tourist trap.

Enjoy Queen of the Damned while you can, the next two books aren't nearly as great. The fifth one most people say they've only read once :\
