Just finished 'The Vampire Lestat'. Clocked in at about 15 hours of reading, not bad.
Ahhhhhh... sinful, fangirlish pleasure. That's all this thing is. And food for my inner angst fiend. *huggles Lestat* And you are such the loveable iconic vampire, aren't you? *huggles Louis and Armand too*
And ahhhh... if the third book is anything compared to this like what it was to the first... I am not going to have enough room in my head for all teh obsessiveness. And my choice for favorite vampire will likely change again (it's gone from Armand to Louis for inexplicable reasons, I still adore Armand though).

Jenneke was bored last night and so she asked me if she could play some video games for a while and I agreed. She said she wanted something easy and I told here that none of teh games were hard really, you just had to get used to them. In the end I ended up popping Xenogears into teh PS and having her play that, with me kind of playing back seat driver. *grins* Too long since I've played that game... *prophetic* I think I will be making a visit to my original Blonde Person (see above mention of list) sometime soon. *grins*
So yes, I've introduced a clueless Dutch girl to one of the greatest video games ever invented. Go me.
I've also started teching her to use chop sticks. We went out to dinner at Hai King tonight and mom, dad and I got to choke on super spicy tum yong soup while she was smart and ordered wanton soup. XD It was all good and I wasn't a victim of a green-chilli-masquerading-as-a-green-bean in the lamb dish.

Oh. Very big iomportant thing that needs to be said because it will uproot my world for a period of time. We wnet and looked at houses tonight and teh first one was an absolute godsend of a house. I may have mentioned earlier that our landlord is a Complete Shit, no? Well, we are supposed to be out of this beautiful old house in two weeks. We've found the next place to live (as in 99.999% probable that I will be sleeping under that roof next month) and now we've gotta move really damn fast. Which is going to be complete and utter hell.
