Card puzzle 2
Вот вторая задача, как продолжение первой (хотя решение второй никак не зависит от решения первой). Неужели никто не хочет попытаться решить? Вот если б avva написал, то думаю решения были бы в первых же комментариях.
Вторая задачка на мой взгляд немного проще -- по крайней мере я ее решила без подсказок :).
BARACK OBAMA: (Takes the jack of hearts from Stewart and flicks it like a Frisbee. It flies in a graceful arc and lands right into a trash can on the other side of the room. Crowd cheers.).
JON STEWART: Three-pointer! Without any help from Larry Summers!
B.O.: Let’s give Larry some more work. This is an even tougher challenge than the first one. This time, you pick just four cards from this deck we just used. What’s more, I’ll even let you decide which one of the four you want to keep. Show the four cards to Larry, pocket the one you want, let him arrange the other three. Then bring them here. This time, they may be either face-up or face-down in the stack. You have to name them to me in order and tell me if they’re face up or face down.
(J.S. mixes the stack of cards from the previous trick with the rest of the deck, picks four cards and hides the rest. After commercial break, J.S. returns with the cards, and gives B.O. the information he requested.)
B.O.: The card in your pocket is the seven of diamonds.
J.S.: (Mouth agape, he reveals the seven of diamonds. Loud cheers.) How did you do that?
Can you provide the answer?

Суть задачки по русски:
Фокусник выкидывает червового вальта и обьявляет, что может угадать карту даже если спрятанную карту выбирает не напарник, а ведущий. То есть ведущий выбирает четыре случайные карты, показывает их напарнику и выбирает одну из них чтоб спрятать. Напарник тогда перетасовывает оставшиеся три карты, но в этот раз он их может положить рубашкой вверх или вниз, как захочет. Ведущий потом зачитывает карты по порядку фокуснику, указывая как они лежат, кверху рубашкой или нет, и фокусник угадывает спрятанную карту. Как он это делает?
