(no subject)
There's something I just don't understand: shoes that require breaking in (and people buying and making them). Yes, I know, once they are broken in, they are supposedly very comfortable and great. But what does one do meanwhile? Suffer? Walk for days getting blisters and sore feet? Every time I tried buying something that I was promised would "break in," I found my feet broke first, so I never got to that desired shoe condition.
P.S. there are no winter boots left at REI. At all. Most of the other local stores are also out of them. Because, you know, the Winter is over already.
